The key constructs that summarize my expertise are: 1) monitoring and evaluation, 2) health management information systems (HMIS), 3) quality improvement and process excellence, 4) health systems strengthening. I have experience working with USAID and CDC Global health contracts. This experience comes from implementing projects in several countries under PEPFAR and IYCN.
In the past 12 plus years I gained experience in 1) establishing longitudinal patient tracking systems for HIV/AIDS care and treatment programs; and child nutrition monitoring systems, 2) HMIS situation assessment and strengthening, 3) development of M&E plan and indicators, 4) process and output monitoring; and outcome evaluation, 5) service provision assessment and service availability mapping for HIV/AIDS care and treatment program, 6) collaborative improvement, 7) nursing productivity analysis.
I have thorough knowledge of WHO health systems framework and approaches, past and current efforts in measuring health systems performance e.g., GAVI Alliance Guidelines, WHO/HMN, IHFAN to name a few; health systems indicators by building blocks and methods of measurement. I recently reviewed WHO publications on measles and rubella strategic plan (2012-2020) and surveillance guidelines. I found that my past work experience in HIV/AIDS and nutrition surveillance and information systems can be easily transferred to your initiatives. I am a Lean Six Sigma Black-Belt with strong background in data analytics (SPAA, SAS). I have a Master’s degree in Sociology and an MBA.
