Niraj is a trained engineer in Information Technology. He has done his Bachelor of Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi. He has over four years of experience in working various fields including IT and Education. Currently, he is working as a Research Assistant at National Law School of India University, Banaglore on a Government of Karnataka funded project. The research is policy research based on 8 marginalized communities of Karnataka and his role is to look into Sub-Plan and Social Accountability Matrix (SAM).
He has done Master of Public Policy (MPP) from National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2016. After his MPP, he has been working on livelihood. He has also worked on a RCT project funded by Oxford university.
He is a coauthor of a book titled-Analysis for Government of Karnataka Budgets for Minorities Development of Minority in Karnataka.
He is a coauthor of a paper published in a European journal titles- Regulation in a Crony Capitalist State: The Case of Planning Laws in Bangalore.
He has also coauthored-Lone Peacock – The endless wait for the mango shower, Published from The Graduate Institute of Geneva.
