Perseo Quiroz-Rendon is a Mexican lawyer with a specialization in human rights and international law. He has dedicated the last 10 years leading advocacy efforts in the field of social justice. He currently works as Amnesty International's UN Senior Advocate for the Americas. Previously he served as Executive Director of Amnesty International Mexico from October 2013 to December 2016, overseeing the section's campaign and advocacy efforts on torture, forced disappearances and feminicide. He has previously served as Deputy Advocacy Coordinator for Sin Fronteras, I.A.P, coordinating legal assistance for migration, refugee and asylum cases. He also has experience in Mexico's public administration, in addition to international arbitration and litigation in the private sector. Quiroz has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Centre for Research and Teaching in Economics (Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas A.C., CIDE) and a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law.
