Leading humanitarian operations in natural disaster contexts and conflict settings is challenging in many ways, including the management of security risks, people, resources, budgets, and international relations.
I help solve that.
I'm an accomplished Humanitarian and Operations Leader with extensive experience in conflict settings and natural disaster contexts, including remote operations.
Most recently, I've been Head of Programs for Médecins Sans Frontières in Afghanistan with responsibility for nationwide security risk analysis and ministerial-level negotiations to gain access to land for a trauma centre.
I've previously held management roles in Disaster Risk Reduction and Response, with MSF and Red Cross in South Sudan, Sierra Leone (Ebola), Yemen and Honduras.
I've committed my career to improving these complex humanitarian situations. I began with my education where I graduated with a Master's in Disaster Management from the University of Copenhagen.
