Philip is a good and resilient leader in driving strategies for resource mobilization for policy development, in the operations, management, and administrative aspects of institutions. Philip is a Doctoral Researcher at the Political Science, University of Ghana, Legon. He has M.Phil (Adult Education) and B.A. (Political Science) degrees from the University of Ghana, Legon. Philip is currently the head of Partnership and Business Development Unit of the Complementary Education Agency (CEA), Ministry of Education in Ghana. Some key achievements at the CEA could be attributed to the position Philip occupies: - Preparation of a concept note through the Reforms Secretariat of the Ministry of Education to attract £300,000 Technical Assistance for the CEA from the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) towards the development of: i. 5-Year Strategic and Costed Plan for CEA, ii. Criteria for implementing Complementary Basic Education (CBE) programme, iii. Roadmap for operationalisation of the CEA Act (Act 1055), iv. Roadmap for shifting CBE from Ghana Education Service to CEA. - Preparation of a Concept Paper to win a $20,000 sponsorship from UNESCO toward the development of a ‘Guideline for Harmonising Complementary Education Literacy Delivery’ aimed at setting standards for mobilising other Development Partners and non-state actors for literacy delivery in Ghana. - Developed Concept Papers to win sponsorship from UNESCO ($4000 in 2020 and $10,000 in 2021) toward the annual International Literacy Day (ILD) celebrations.
