Summary

I have management and organizational skills (including reporting and event coordination skills) in handling marine/climate change associated projects. I also have a fair handle on carrying out shallow marine invertebrate and sea grass surveys. In addition, I have research skills in marine science related studies. I am skilled at undertaking scientific research and producing scientific publications. With respect to scientific research, I have taxonomic skills in identifying marine microscopic crustaceans (ostracods). I also have mapping/image analyses skills (ability to use ArcGIS and HyperCube software). Presently, I am working on a taxonomy project related to marine ostracods occurring in a special habitat (sea turtle carcass) in Tsukumo Bay, Noto Peninsula, Japan.
