After studying planning from best planning school in Bangladesh, I started working at the juncture of development and research at the Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), a research institute dedicated to generate evidence that help countries develop. At IPA, I was fortunate worked under some renowned economists on a range of randomized evaluations. As a Research Analyst for these projects, I was responsible for end-to-end execution of the evaluation. This involved managing all aspects of project activities. As a result, I have developed a wide range of project management skills. After acquiring these skills and knowledge, I wanted to move towards implementing evidence-based programs that directly helped lives. I joined Evidence Action (EA), an NGO dedicated to scaling up evidence-based programs. At EA, I supported the No Lean Season program, a cash transfer program that has proven to help the poor to reduce the negative effects of seasonality by enabling seasonal labor mobility.
