Rebecca B.

United States

Summary

As a rising senior in the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University, I have committed to studying international development as it pertains to empowering women in order to foster sustainable development. Through my course work, I have completed extensive research on topics of international development, global women's issues, and economics. On campus, I have distinguished myself as a student leader that seeks to intentionally better the GW and D.C. community through a variety of top leadership roles in multiple student organizations and as a student employee in several departments. Off campus, I have strategically pursued internship positions that have allowed for me to gain experience in the field of international development in private and public, non-profit and for profit, and international NGO spaces. As I complete my studies at The George Washington University, I am seeking the opportunity to do fieldwork abroad before pursuing my graduate degree.
