My vast and varying experience working in journalism and the private security sector in Africa make me a versatile and valuable addition to any organization. My greatest skill is cultivating sources in different groups, gleaning useful information from those sources, analyzing what the information means, why it matters, and then communicating that analysis on paper and verbally in a clear, concise and quick manner. I thrive, personally and professionally, independently or as part of a team, in unpredictable situations and environments of varying threat levels. I am adaptable, flexible, a hard worker and eager to learn everyday. I have a Masters degree in International / Intercultural Communication from Royal Roads University in Victoria, Canada. I am a strong writer and native English speaker but can also speak very basic French, Swahili, Arabic, and several African tribal dialects.
