Robert is a project management professional with a technical focus in international development, conflict resolution, and post-conflict transition. He currently works as the Communications Advisor for the USAID Promote: Women in Government project in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Previously, he has worked with the Public International Law and Policy Group, the U.S. Department of State, the Center for International Policy, the Clinton Foundation, and the Rwanda Development Board where he gained experience in legal research and advising, policy development and implementation, and project management. He has lived and worked in a number of challenging (post-) conflict settings, largely in East Africa and South Asia.
Robert holds a Master's degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University's School of International Service where he specialized in Conflict Resolution, Public International Law, and Genocide Prevention. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from Hendrix College.
