Rozandi is a development professional with extensive experience in private sector development. Her core competencies are project and strategy design, management, monitoring, backstopping and training in the field of private sector development with a specific focus on applying making Market System Development (MSD) principles. Rozandi studied Tourism Management, has a degree in Psychology and Post Graduate in Social Anthropology, has attended training courses in Make Markets Work (M4P) methodology with Springfield Centre as well as Monitoring for Results Measurement with the DCED standard. She has been managing market development projects since 2007 and has provided advisory support to various NGOs in Zimbabwe in order to develop their overall strategic approach and implementation. Up until March 2014 she was overseeing 3 MSD projects in the southern Africa region, whilst managing a Youth Entrepreneurship project in South Africa. She was also the Regional Monitoring for Results Measurement Advisor, and developed MRM systems adhering to the DCED MRM standards. In April 2014 Rozandi took up a position of Country Director for Swisscontact Macedonia as well as Programme Manager of a SDC funded national MSD Programme called "Increasing Market Employability", focusing on income and job creation in five Sectors: Sustainable Tourism & Hospitality, Creative Industries (IT & Software Development and Product Design) and the Green Economy (Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Building). She is a Swisscontact Master Trainer for both Inclusive Markets as well as Sustainable Destination Management.
