I am an experienced MCIPS qualified procurement professional with extensive experience in running OJEU regulated tenders from market engagement through to post contract award. I have led multiple complex projects including a £150 million negotiation for Traction Motors with 3 of the world’s leading train manufacturers and a procurement to find an Investment Manager for £1.2 billion pension fund. I also have extensive health & social care experience working with UK local authorities & NHS CCGs. I have set up frameworks for social care and mental health including one for £35 million p.a. of home care. I hold a politics BA from Warwick & an MSc in Development from SOAS where my thesis considered the political economy of development of HIV/AIDS in China. Currently I am working as an interim Commercial Manager with the Pension Protection Fund. Having undertaken work in relation to an IT insource, I have been retained to deliver the procurement of an Investment Performance System. Prior to the PPF I was engaged at Transport for London. With TFL I successfully fought a commercial dispute against France's leading rolling stock company in the high court, sat on a pan-TFL Brexit working group and developed a commercial strategy & established links with trade bodies to expand TFL’s supply chain for bespoke manufacturing. My experience throughout my career has shown a great adaptability, variety and success. A recent project I ran for a £20 million Data Transmission system was a finalist for a National Government Opportunities Award for collaborative procurement.
