Samuel is a master negotiator, problem-solver and public speaker who effectively coordinate teams and multitask in fast-paced, deadlines environments. He has several years of work experience on adolescent reproductive health projects with UNICEF and the PEPFAR program in management and technical positions as a Chief of Party of the USAID funded CapacityPlus project and with the United States Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention; Abuja (CDC) as a program manager during which he had managed a number of CDC funded Cooperative Agreements in the OVC, Health Systems Strengthening and PMTCT program areas in addition to the $20 million dollar four year award to strengthen diseases surveillance and health emergency response and the $10 million dollar direct award to the government of Nigeria to strengthen integrated delivery of HIV/AIDS services. He had also coordinated the multi stakeholder West African Infectious Diseases (WAIDI) Institute, a public-private sector initiative of the government of Nigeria, Accordia Global Health Foundation, the University of Abuja, PEPFAR Nigeria and Exxon Mobil to establish an infectious Institute (WAIDI) to be modelled after the Infectious Diseases Institute; Uganda.
