My 4-years of experience in the non-profit sector includes project management and coordination, outreach communications, knowledge management, research, gender mainstreaming and training for youth empowerment. My Program Support role at Internews in Washington D.C consisted of implementing gender mainstreaming across-projects, researching on Media’s role in tackling Human Trafficking, as well as designing educational methodologies for field training. As a Youth Trainer, I managed the Leadership Project and led Capacity Building training. In the role of chair of Atlas Corps Training Fellow Committee, I helped develop fellow-alumni skills exchange and organized fellow-led professional development sessions. I am passionate about lobbying for human rights and social development, countering human trafficking and training for youth empowerment. I am fluent in English, Spanish, French and Italian, as well as my native Albanian.
