I am the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer of Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF). I am also a writer, lecturer, researcher and mentor focused on philanthropy, civil society, entrepreneurship and women issues.
I joined TPF in its start-up phase, taking an active role in developing the organization’s structure first in my role as a consultant, then as the Chief Operating Officer. Before that, I served as an Advisor to the President of the Board at Business Forum, where I previously held the position of Executive Director.
In 2005, I was appointed as an International Herst Fellow by the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, where I studied current trends in philanthropic giving to Turkey. I am a guest lecturer at Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society and an advisory board member for the Turkish Women International Network (TurkishWIN).
I enjoy opportunities to learn from and contribute to global communities of practice in philanthropy, entrepreneurship and women issues and write about these matters on my blog at the Huffington Post.
