I am looking for Event, Administrative, and Outreach jobs with 6 years career in public relations company, human rights and humanitarian NGOs, the United Nations, and the African Development Bank. I have expertise in event invitation and logistics management, development of promotional products (web and print), project management, database development, and office and HR management. I passed the UN Global General Service Test (an entry-level assessment requirement for general service positions) in November 2018.
Currently, as an Event and Administrative Manager at the AM Graphics (a PR company), South Korea, I have managed work plans, PR seminars, graphic products, and expenses. From May 2015 to April 2016, I acted as an Event Project Manager at the Global Network for Rights and Development (a human rights NGO in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East), Switzerland. I managed the marketing and logistics of the ‘UN Human Rights Council (HRC)’ side events, exhibitions, and campaigns (on refugee and violence-affected people’s well-being). As the main graphic designer and editor, I secured audiences and donors by creating flyers, brochures, HRC final reports, and videos in English, French, and Arabic. I also represented the NGO by creating and delivering its presentations to donors and moderated two HRC side events.
From September 2012 to April 2015, I served as the ‘Library Events’ Intern at the UN Office at Geneva Library, Switzerland and a Knowledge Management Consultant and a Partnership Intern at the African Development Bank, Tunisia. I managed the inquiries, reporting, and logistics of discussions on the key UN issues, workshops, and donor visits, creating visual products, web and document database, and employment and procurement contracts. Previously, as a Project Administrative Intern at the Global Civic Sharing (a humanitarian NGO in Asia and Africa), South Korea, I supported the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of vulnerable people’s income generation and rural development projects. I also dealt with the recruitment, training, and deployment of field project managers and generated project records, proposals, and progress and expense reports.
My two years-administrative military service at the US Army and proven writing and editing, graphic design, event challenge management, and computer skills (e.g. MS Office, SAP, Umoja, MailChimp, InDesign, Prezi, and Web Content Management Systems) would be strong assets.
