I spend every day working on building food systems that work for all, leading the development of JUST Inc's Emerging Markets business. My initial focus is designing super nutritious low-cost culturally-relevant food for children suffering from malnutrition, for which I spend most of my time in Monrovia, Liberia.
When not working I can be found (or not so found) getting lost running through the swamps and slums of Monrovia, or convincing a group of friends to do some combination of ultimate frisbee, beach volleyball, or surfing.
When not doing any of the above, I am a speaker, mentor, activist, volunteer, and social entrepreneur.
My past work includes founding CompCamp, a technology education-based social enterprise that changed the way kids learned tech. I have consulted internationally with non-profits, represented Canada at an UN-sponsored global entrepreneurship program, and received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for my commitment to community development in Canada.
