Terry Ridon is a public interest attorney focusing on public infrastructure, housing and utilities, natural resources, and environment.
He served as the Chair and CEO of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor under President Rodrigo Duterte, tasked with the implementation of the presidential directive of 'no demolition without relocation'.
He represented the Philippine government as the head of delegation to the Asia Pacific Conference on Housing and Urban Development in New Delhi. He was among the representatives of the Philippine government in the UN Habitat conferences in Quito and New York, and the UN climate conferences in Marrakech and Bonn.
He was a member of the 16th Congress, representing Kabataan party-list, with membership in critical committees including legislative franchises, energy, ways and means, natural resources, transportation, information communications technology, official development assistance, climate change, among others.
He graduated from the UP College of Law, sat as a member of the UP Board of Regents and chaired the UP University Student Council.
