Summary

Currently serving as an Infantry Major in the British Army after completing the commissioning course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2005. My career so far has included operational service in Iraq in 2008 (as a Strike Team Commander and Battle Captain), and Afghanistan in 2012/13 (as an Operations Officer of a high profile UK Task Force). Other posts included deployment to various African Union (AU) countries such as The Gambia and Nigeria as part of a British Military Advisory Training Team to plan and deliver training for AU soldiers deploying to Sudan in 2007; Aide-de-Camp & Executive Assistant to His Excellency the Governor & Commander-in-Chief Lt Gen Sir Robert Fulton in 2009 and VAdm Sir Adrian Johns from 2009 – 2010. From July 2010 to Sept 2012 posted as the Adjutant of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment before deploying to Afghanistan in Oct 12. Completed the Intermediate Command and Staff Course (Land), at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom in 2014. From mid 2014 till Sept 2015 became a Company Commander, and the Officer in Command of recruiting for the Regiment. This saw me plan, administer and execute all aspects of the RG's recruiting campaign along with designing a new marketing strategy and corporate image for the Unit. From Sept 15 I became the Rifle Company Commander for my Unit.
