22 years experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) leading teams, protecting personnel, investigating complex cases, and building collaborative relationships. I lived and worked in Iraq, Pakistan, Hungary, and West Africa resolving terrorism, criminal, and hostage investigations. I collaborated with NGOs, government, and private partners to protect personnel, further human rights, and seek justice. I gained the trust and cooperation of host country partners with honesty, common goals, and persistence.
Experienced instructor teaching internationally, FBI academy classes, and National Academy courses accredited by the University of Virginia.
I am currently a Supervisory Special Agent in Atlanta leading operational response programs including crisis management, special events, evidence, weapons of mass destruction (WMD), crisis negotiation, hazardous devices, and SWAT. My success in collaborating with public and private agencies, as well as preparing and executing integrated public safety plans for these programs, was demonstrated during the recent Super Bowl in Atlanta.
My leadership philosophy is characterized by building trust and high energy problem solving. I successfully led FBI teams through challenges by focusing on our mission, emphasizing respect for others, and maintaining a sense of humor.
