I am a physician and PhD candidate at the School of Public Health, University of Queensland, Australia. My research primarily focuses on regulations of private health care providers in low-and-middle-income countries. I previously completed Masters in International Public Health at my current university holding the Australian Leadership Award Scholarship. I have over ten years of work experience in the development and implementation of the national level Health Sector Strategic Plan, the health sector reforms, strengthening sectoral health planning and budgeting capacity and the health sector human resource development in Mongolia. Starting from 2009, the private health care sector and Public Private Partnership have become the main interest of my work and research. Prior to the PhD, I have worked as a national consultant on the regulation of private healthcare for the third Health Sector Development Project funded by Asian Development Bank in Mongolia.
