I obtained a degree in Special Needs in Education from Maseno University in 2005 with specialization in education for learners with cognitive and intellectual challenges and a minor in English Language and Literature in English.
I am currently undertaking a graduate degree Education Leadership and Management.
I have worked as a regular school teacher from 2005-2008 teaching English Language and Literature in English and Kiswahili.
I joined the Teachers' Service Commission(TSC) in 2009 as a teacher for learners with hearing impairments.
Alongside my regular position, I also volunteer with the Organization for Intercultural Education, (OFIE). I am a certified Qualified International Trainer with AFS Intercultural Programs.
In addition, I also volunteer with Special Education Professionals, (SEP), as a consultant special education teacher; and with Peace Corps as a Trainer of Trainers.
