Wendy Soone-Broder was a consultant for both Asia Society Northern California and Bay Area Council before she became the Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of Development and Event Management. Previously, she served as the Director of Development for the Chinese American International School, which received the prestigious Award for Excellence in International Education from the Goldman Sachs Foundation and the Asia Society. She has been a consultant for numerous non-profit organizations over the years. At the United Way, she directed a successful $4 million corporate employee campaign. In 1984, she was the logistics manager of the national Torch Relay for the Los Angeles Olympics, raising $12 million for youth sports. Ms. Soone-Broder serves on the advisory board of Kearney Street Workshop, as well as various other community committees. She holds a B.S. and an M.S. from the University of Nevada, Reno.
