I am an experienced and skilled Civil Engineer with over fourteen years of work experience with both Non-governmental organizations and the United Nations organizations. I have over 8 years of international experience in the United Nations Serving n Darfur, Sudan and the Central African Republic. During these periods I have acquired comprehensive knowledge, skills and requirements of the United nations functions as it relates but not limited to the fields of Civil engineering, general construction, facility management, install, service, maintain and repairs in compliance with recognized standards and regulations pertaining to safety, Installations and waste treatments plants. I also have knowledge in monitoring and evaluation of vendor contracts bidding.
I am motivated, proactive, a skilled professional with good supervisory skills, who likes to take initiatives when performing my functions. This coupled with my interpersonal relationship with, colleagues and clients, ability to make sound decisions, demonstrate fiscal awareness, respect for gender equality and balance, proven communication skills, providing procedural advice on United Nations Rules and regulations, very good planning and organizational skills which enables me meet deadlines. I am a team player who enjoys working in diverse cultural environments and can work alone when the need arises.
I hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, and have done and completed several trainings, obtained certificates and acquire knowledge and skills in engineering which make me more effective and efficient in carrying out associated duties.
