I am a Masters student at Indiana University, pursing a dual degree in Public Affairs and Environmental Science, with expected graduation in December 2018. I have over two-years of experience working part-time on national and global energy, environmental and sustainability challenges. In ten years, I see myself working in a consulting, non-profit or intergovernmental organization, supporting energy or environmental solutions in developing countries.
Growing up in India, I loved the food and diversity, but was troubled by the pollution and energy challenges facing the country. That inspired me to study environmental engineering and waste management in my undergrad and continue studying energy policy in the United States.
When I am not talking energy, I am involved with student organizations on campus or volunteering at local non-profit organizations. I love hiking in Indiana's famous State Parks and experimenting new vegetarian recipes at home.
I enjoy engaging in interesting conversations with people with diverse experiences, on topics not just limited to energy. I would love to connect with you.
