I am a demographer by profession with a wide-range of experience in conducting surveys, managing and analyzing the data, and writing survey reports. I'm well acquainted with different statistical soft wares such as SPSS, CSPro, Epi Info, etc. Able to work on own initiative and as part of the team. I have proven skills in project planning and implementation, and monitoring and evaluation, and motivating the teams to achieve desired objectives. I am dedicated to maintaining high quality product.
◆ Collaborating with project staff in conducting CBHI assessment in 30 selected CBHI schemes (10 each in Amhara and Oromia, 6 in SNNP and 4 in Tigray), selected health facilities, and kebeles; and lead the data analysis and report writing.
◆ Participated as a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) established by the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) to undertake the 2013/14 Health Accounts in Ethiopia. And produced a draft briefer on "maternal health care".
◆ Produced series of synthesis reports using supportive supervision data gathered from health facilities situated in Amhara, Benishangul-Gumuz, Gambella, Harari, Oromia, SNNP and Tigray regions; and Dire Dawa and Addis Ababa city administrations.
◆ Served as co-author of the fourth and fifth rounds of National Health Accounts (NAH IV and V); and a member of six Health Account (in progress) Technical Working Group.
◆ Prepared CBHI pilot program routine monitoring data collection formats: baseline, quarterly and monthly data; and data management formats.
◆ Produced the Health Sector Financing Reform (HSFR) project Monitoring and Evaluation framework; Performance Monitoring Plans (PMPs) based on project annual work plans, HCF and CBHI supportive supervision checklists; and developed data entry formats,
◆ Published survey reports with colleagues at Family Health International (Regional & HQ Offices), published articles in journals, and presented the findings of contraceptive prevalence survey at the National and International Conferences,
◆ Drafted the Monitoring and Evaluation formats for Packard Sub-grantees; trained staffs drawn from sub-grantees on how to make use of these forms for collecting and analysing service statistics data, and preparing reports, and
◆ Provided technical assistance for the Consortium of Reproductive Health Association (CORHA) and its member NGOs in areas of M&E; revised the standardized & comprehensive M&E formats; trained FP/RH NGOs field staff on how to make use of these forms; and prepared survey reports using NGO/SDP assessment quantitative and qualitative data.
