My Mission: I use learning as a vehicle to enable children and adults throughout the globe to create social and behavioral change. With a graduate degree in education (adult and organizational learning) and a bachelor’s degree in integrative studies (early childhood and elementary education), I believe that education has the power to improve one's quality of life. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with non-profit and for-profit organizations as an education program manager, learning and development consultant, and elementary teacher.
My Philosophy: My core values are kindness, love of learning and creativity. I believe that every boy, girl, man and woman on this planet should have human rights, particularly the opportunity to receive an education.
My Personality: I’m an ENFJ on the Myers Briggs type indicator and a strong I on the DISC assessment—an organized, creative, idealist-go getter who loves working with all types of people! I enjoy managing programs or projects, building relationships, as well as collaborating on a team.
This quote by Adam Grant, author of Originals, describes my personality, "Originals are nonconformists, people who not only have new ideas but take action to champion them. They are people who stand out and speak up. Originals drive creativity and change in the world. They're the people you want to bet on."
I'm here to leave my mark on the world and make a social impact! To quote psychologist, Angela Duckworth, “I won’t just have a job; I’ll have a calling. I’ll challenge myself every day."
