I am a Project Management and M&E Specialist with over 21 years of work experience in: maternal and reproductive health, vaccines, immunization, tuberculosis, family planning, safe abortion, HIV/AIDS, population, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), non-communicable diseases, climate change, agriculture, gender mainstreaming and integration, advocacy, private/public partnerships, capacity building and community development. Experienced in managing complex programs with multiple implementers, multilateral and funding agencies; particularly: World Bank, USAID, ADB, JICA, UNAIDS, UNITAID, UNFPA, CDC, EU, DFID, BMGF, UNDP, UNOPS, GFATM, StopTB Partnership, Lilly Global Health, the Susan T. Buffett Foundation, William J. Clinton Foundation, the David & Lucile Packard Foundation, SIDA, Rockefeller Foundation and Merck for Mothers. I am working as a Project Management M&E Consultant in Ernst and Young LLP, a Management Consultancy Firm headquartered in London and assisting Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation in implementation of National Rural Drinking Water Programme across the country under the guidance of Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India. I previously worked in several senior project management positions that include: M&E Program Specialist; Senior M&E Technical Advisor; M&E Coordinator; and M&E Manager in various consulting companies such as Conseil Santé, IQVIA, EnterpriseWorks/VITA, Taylor Nelson Sofres and MART Global Management Solution LLP and non-profit global health organizations like Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (William J. Clinton Foundation), World Health Partners, Population Services International, and HLL Lifecare Ltd.
I designed and implemented several KAP, impact, and outcome measurement surveys using the traditional and LQAS survey methodologies; these included: baselines, annual tracking surveys, midterm, and end of term surveys among reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, malaria. As M&E expert, conducted End of Term Evaluation using the Client Exit Survey methodology for the End of Project Evaluation and produced reports. I have conducted Health RH end-term evaluation, PSI annual RH tracking surveys, and end-term evaluation for UNFPA country population program and baseline surveys for Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health project. I conducted the midterm review for the HIV/AIDS National Strategic Plan (NSP) and NSP M&E plan and NSP Indicator Handbook. I designed the M&E framework for the NUHM, MoH&FW, Govt. of India; I have implemented several data quality assessments and data validation exercises for funded projects. I have managed; provided technical specifications and defined user needs for online management information systems (MIS) for several USAID funded projects.
I have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Anna University, a Master’s Degree in Public Health from San Diego State University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Promotion from Public Health Foundation of India and currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology and Population Health from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Population Studies from International Institute for Population Studies. I am also proficient in Analytical software like STATA, SPSS, STATISTICA, Tableau, Epi-Info, and R. I am having demonstrated knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS) and experience with epidemiological mapping, knowledge of monitoring and evaluation theories, resources and best practices, experienced with multi-county project coordination with international organizations and Ministries of Health. I am familiar with various mobile survey collection tools such as SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox, Open Data Kit, etc. and having a deep understanding of and experience with HMIS and DHIS2. I am an experienced team leader with a niche in timely performance excellence and integrity. I possess excellent report writing, analytical and leadership skills.
