The goal of the project is to improve the water supply efficiency and water service provision quality in the middle and southern governorates in Gaza.The project shall be comprised of the following components:Component 1: Rehabilitatation and Expansion of Water Supply and Sanitation FacilitiesComponent 2: Utility Capacity Building and Operational SupportThe World Bank estimates the total project cost at US$15 million.UPDATES:28 November 2012The project has been approved by the Board on 27 November 2012.26 November 2012The Board Approval has been moved to 29 November 2012. The total project cost is now estimated at US$17.54 million.
