I. INVITATION FOR BIDS
KfW Grant No: BMZ ID 2003 65 692/ 200370 296
- The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has received a Grant № BMZ ID 2003 65 692 / 2003 70 296 from the KfW Development Bank (KfW) towards the cost of a Strengthening of Emergency Medical Services programme. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this Grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts for which this invitation for bids is issued.
- The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic having EPOS Health Management (EPOS) acting as its Procurement Agent, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following goods:
Lot 1: Monitored Surveillance and Functional Analysis
Lot 2: Surgical Instruments and Disposables
Lot 3: Laboratory Equipment, Microscopy Equipment and Haemodialysis and Plasmapheresis Equipment
Besides delivery, the supply includes installation of the goods, users training and maintenance. Bids shall be submitted for quantities of all items within any lot and will be evaluated and awarded on a lot-by-lot basis. Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Bidding procedures specified in present instructions, and are open to all eligible bidders.
- Eligible bidders are manufacturers or suppliers from any country. Bidding document may be obtained by email or by Post – against a fee of 100 EUR – at EPOS Health Management GmbH (see e-mail address below). Any requests for clarifications to the bidding document must be sent by e-mail to the same address. Questions will be accepted latest 15 days and answers will be given latest 10 days prior to the deadline for presenting bids. Clarifications will be issued to all bidders by e-mail at the latest 10 days prior to the deadline for submission of bids.
- Bids must be delivered at the address of EPOS as stated below on or before 12.00 hours (local time) on 09.08.2010 and must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 1,5
% of the bid price in EURO. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14.00 hours (local time), on 09.08.2010 at the address: Hindenburgring 18, D-61348 Bad Homburg, Germany.
Successful Bidders are requested that all the equipment, test-systems, consumables and medical furniture to be supplied to the Kyrgyz Republic be registered at the Department of Drug Supply and Medical Equipment within the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyz Republic, as soon as possible after information on the bid award. The bidder shall submit a Warranty Letter guaranteeing that in case if he is awarded a Contract, the goods will be registered in the Kyrgyz Republic before the actual delivery. The Successful bidder shall bear all costs associated with registration of Goods in the Kyrgyz Republic, at the following address:
