The Korea International Cooperation Agency is providing a USD3 million grant to help the Philippines increase the production and propagation of one of its key livestock, the carabao or domesticated water buffalo. The grant will go toward a research project of the country’s Department of Agriculture, which aims to improve the quality of the nation’s carabao stock, GMA News reports.
