The PNG Advisory Support Facility provides capacity building assistance to key PNG government agencies. Working as an ASF Adviser is challenging and rewarding with the satisfaction of working alongside PNG counterparts to achieve developmental goals. The ASF is currently seeking two expert Advisers to assist the PNG Central Supply & Tenders Board (CSTB) to further strengthen its capacity to manage and implement sound procurement practice across PNG Government agencies.
PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS ADVISER 12 month contract (ASF 58/2-78)
You will support the CSTB to strengthen its management and implementation of the PNG Government?s procurement reform initiatives. To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate management experience in a large organisation, practical understanding of effective procurement practice and methodologies as well as the ability to apply these to organisations in a developing country.
PROCUREMENT CAPACITY BUILDING ADVISER 12 month contract (ASF 58/2-79)
You will advise and assist the CSTB to implement strategies and initiatives to improve capacity within PNG Government agencies to effectively manage procurement activities. In order to be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement, such that you can advise on the design and implementation of training strategies to improve operational effectiveness and have the ability to apply this experience to organisations in a developing country.
