SUMMARY:
Counterpart International is seeking a Director of Finance for a 5-year, $10 million Leadership Development Program in Bangladesh. The program aims to promote community leaders and youth as change agents for democracy and development by promoting greater understanding of democratic practices and values and providing opportunities for community leaders and young people to engage in community development. With the support and under the supervision of the Chief of Party (COP), the Director will be responsible for all financial, accounting, grant-making, and compliance aspects of the program. S/he will also provide the COP with guidance on administrative and financial matters. The Director of Finance will be responsible for all aspects of financial project management as well as coordination of all financial and compliance activities. The Director should have fluency and experience in the areas of: grant and compliance management, accountability, negotiations, auditing, as well as be an expert in USAID rules and regulations governing all aspects of financial and administrative management and oversight of programs.
