IAS 2007 SYDNEY AUSTRALIA 4th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis and Treatment VOLUNTEER TO BE PART OF IAS 2007, THE 4TH IAS CONFERENCE ON HIV PATHOGENESIS, TREATMENT AND PREVENTION

International AIDS Society (IAS) together with the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM)
Date & venue:
22-25 July 2007, Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour
This conference will bring together approximately 5,000 national and international researchers, scientists and other professionals working in the fi eld of HIV/AIDS.
Volunteers are needed for the following areas:
• Conference opening and closing ceremony (backstage liaison with speakers, ushers) • Logistical support (traffi c fl ow, badge control, help desks, pre-conference activities) • Support in session rooms • Welcome and protocol • Exhibition co-ordination • Onsite offices (speakers centre, media centre, management offi ces) • PLWHA (People Living with HIV/AIDS) lounge
We will need 150 to 200 volunteers from Thursday 19 July until Wednesday 25 July to help with conference preparation and onsite duties.
All volunteers will receive: *
• Meal allowance • Certificate of attendance • Opportunities to network or attend sessions
