WYG International are seeking an experienced Institutional/Organisational Expert in the field of waste management for a forthcoming project in Bulgaria fr which we have expressed an interest to tender.
The project is entitled “Feasibility study and accompanying documents for the Project Management of the Domestic Wastes of the Municipality of the Capital”. The aim of the project is to create an integrated system for suitable sustained and long term treatment of the wastes. The project shall be located in Sofia, Bulgaria and has an anticpated commencement date of September 2007. The duration of the project shall be 16 months.
The skills and qualifications required for this role are:
- University education in environmental oriented political sciences
- Written and verbal fluency in English
- Good reporting ability and computer literacy
- At least 15 years professional experience in institutional and organisational analysis of waste management, municipal management and the environment
- Professional experience in at least 3 European countries in domestic waste management projects
- Analysis/review of the institutional and organisational setup of waste management - participation in at least 2 projects in the last 5 years
- Development of schemes for Private Public Partnershios (PPP) in waste management projects - participation in at least 3 projects in the last 5 years
- EU waste sector regulations application - participation in at least 2 projects in the last 5 years
- The preparation of FIDIC based tender documentation - participation in at least 1 project in the last 5 years.
