Job Description
CHF International’s mission is to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low-and moderate-income communities around the world, helping them to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions.
CHF is seeking an experienced Housing Construction Manager to lead a program to erect new housing – both temporary shelter and permanent housing – in response to the Haitian earthquake.
Qualifications
Fluency in French is preferred.
Ability to deploy quickly to Haiti – both long-term and short-term opportunities are available
Prior experience managing shelter and housing construction projects in response to natural disaster is required
Familiarity with managing USAID, OFDA, or other donor-funded programs is essential.
Knowledge of pre-fab and other types of modular housing is needed.
Experience working in challenging environments
