Haiti Emergency Response Shelter Assessment

CHF International’s mission is to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low- and moderate-income communities around the world, helping them to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions. CHF is seeking a shelter expert with experience responding to humanitarian emergencies providing assessments of both temporary and long term shelter needs. It is estimated that you will need to spend 2 weeks in Haiti and then write a comprehensive report the third week. Qualifications Ability to deploy to Haiti the week of January 18 required Master’s degree a plus Experience in humanitarian emergencies similar to the Tsunami response is required. Ability to assess and write reports quickly and to work in a disaster environment needed. Fluency in French and English required. Knowledge of OFDA preferred Prior Haiti experience preferred
