Haiti Emergency Response WAT/SAN Assessment

CHF International’s mission is to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low- and moderate-income communities around the world, helping them to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions. CHF is seeking a WAT/SAN expert with experience responding to humanitarian emergencies providing assessment of the immediate and longer range WAT/SAN needs in Haiti. The assessment will cover access to water supply and sanitation; promotion of better hygiene in an urban environment. It is estimated that you will need to spend 2 weeks in Haiti and then write a comprehensive report the third week. Qualifications Must be able to deploy to Haiti the week of January 18. Master’s degree a plus Experience in Humanitarian emergencies similar to the Tsunami response is required. Ability to assess and write reports quickly and to work in a disaster environment needed. Fluency in French and English required. Knowledge of OFDA preferred Prior Haiti experience preferred
