Functional responsibilities


  • Support the Partnership Specialist in keeping records of minutes, updating the engagement tracker and maintaining the engagement overview dashboard
  • Support the Partnership Specialist and Officer with administrative tasks, including but not limited to arranging meetings, travels, events etc.
  • Support the visibility of UNOPS in Pakistan (e.g. through social networks, participation in events, visual branding etc.) in line with the communication strategy and SAMCO communication team
  • Support ensuring that the achievements of the country office’s outstanding projects are properly captured in the right communication formats for external outreach purpose
  • Administrative support with Partner Surveys and resulting action plans.
  • Provide Administrative and procedural support to the Partnership Specialist and Officer in representing the country office at the relevant communications forum internally and externally
  • Document project activities and events including administrative media support for communications and reporting.
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring project activities, including beneficiary data and progress of schemes for communication and reporting purpose, including but not limited to donor reporting, internal UNOPS reporting and UNSDCF
  • Contribute to the preparation of regular monitoring reports
  • Assist in documenting lessons learned and best practices and sharing this knowledge within the team and with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the collection and compilation of data for reporting on key performance indicators related to partnerships and communication.
  • Administrative support to the partnerships unit responsible for the research and analytical functions of the unit preparing administrative briefs and reports as needed.


Education/Experience/Language requirements


Education:
  • Secondary School Education is required
  • A first-level university (Bachelors’) degree preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development, Political Science, Communications, International Relations, or any other relevant field is an added advantage and may substitute some years of relevant experience.
Experience:
  • With secondary education, a minimum of 5 years of experience (or less depending on academic credentials) in Partnership development communications is required.
  • Experience in Proposal Writing, M&E, and/or other related fields are highly desirable.
  • With a Bachelors’ degree, only 1 year of relevant experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and photography is an asset
    Language Requirements:
  • Fluency in written and oral English is required.
  • Fluency in the national language Urdu is preferred
