Job Description

Since 1970, DAI has worked in 150 developing and transition countries, providing comprehensive development solutions in areas including crisis mitigation and recovery, democratic governance and public sector management, agriculture and agribusiness, private sector development and financial services, economics and trade, health, water and natural resources management and energy and climate change. Clients include international development agencies, international lending institutions, private corporations and philanthropies, and host-country governments.

DAI is seeking to experts in water supply and sanitation for an upcoming project in India. Ideal candidates should have experience in the following areas:

  • Water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH) sector analysis and program design,
  • Water resources management and impacts from climate change,
  • Water supply as it relates to food security/agricultural development,
  • Water policy development and reform,
  • Information systems specialist,
  • Rural development and gender.

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Advanced degree in environmental policy, water resources management or other relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years professional work experience in the water sector in India.
  • Substantial experience with multilaterals, USAID, private sector or other donors.
