As the daughter of a U.S. diplomat, I grew up all over the world. Currently, I'm a writer based in New York. I worked as a staff writer for Vault.com, where I helped write guidebooks including the Vault Guide to the Top Government and Nonprofit Employers. Before moving to New York, I was a researcher for National Geographic Traveler magazine in Washington, D.C. I hold an MA in journalism from the University of Missouri.
