I have been working professionally in the area of development aid for 15 years with multilateral, bilateral and civil society organizations, of which I have been working in the developing countries for 10 years in both Africa and Asia. I have been deeply involved in the recent discussions of Paris Declaration and aid effectiveness issues because I have actual experiences in the field on program aid namely sector programs and general budget support in Ethiopia and Tanzania.
