Job Description

ME&A is recruiting a Research Analyst to work for the Water Sector Communications and Knowledge Management (WS/CKM) Program to provide support to both the WS/CKM Program staff and the USAID Water Office. The WS/CKM Program provides support to the USAID Water Office by I) accessing and managing USAID water and coastal resources management information; 2) providing technical support for analysis and reporting; 3) accessing technical information relating to water and coastal resources; and, 4) knowledge management activities.

Specific responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Researches and synthesizes technical and program information to manage knowledge in the international water sector;
  • Conducts internet searches (e.g., recent project activities, water sector activities, technical publications);
  • Maintains and develops archives of technical publications;
  • Summarizes program activity descriptions relevant to USAID work in water and coastal resources management;
  • Provides support on program knowledge management activities;
  • Carries out other program tasks, as needed.

Qualifications for the Program Coordinator position include:

  • Employment experience with research or communications preferred.
  • Demonstrated research skills.
  • Exceptional writing skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under short deadlines.
  • Must have US work authorization.
