The ABA Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) seeks a former or current law professor (including adjunct professors) with substantive experience in clinical legal education.
This program supports the development of university programs, particularly law programs, through its public service technical assistance programs around the world. Work with universities focuses on supporting clinical legal education, moot court and mock trial activities, curriculum reform, continuing professional education, and the development of accreditation standards.
ABA ROLI has significant experience in helping to prepare law students and new lawyers to transition from the study of law to the practice of law through practical skills training. In the Middle East and North Africa, ABA ROLI has partnered with over 40 law faculties, working tailoring each program to law faculty and student needs. We have designed and taught numerous training courses on topics such as client relations, case management, and legal research. These programs have incorporated experiential learning approaches, including moot exercises.
