EI is seeking an Adaptive Management Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist (CKM Specialist) for the anticipated USAID-funded Highlands Resilience Platform for Adaptive Learning (R-PAL) Activity in Ethiopia. This activity will provide USAID/Ethiopia and Ethiopia Highlands Resilience partners with project and technical assistance to advance the use of evidence, adaptive management techniques, and Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) practices and principles to facilitate evidence-based program iteration and adoption. This Activity will also support innovation within USAID’s Highlands programming to drive early adoption and scaling of new rigorously tested approaches.
Among other responsibilities, the incumbent will ensure knowledge management (KM) for generating, capturing and sharing knowledge to maintain institutional memory that can be utilized within and between partner organizations, and provide knowledge products related technical support and capacity strengthening to partners.

The position will be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the position will begin remotely. Being present in the office on multiple days per week is an expectation once we reopen offices, which is expected to commence in line with local recommendations and guidelines.
