Description What We Can Achieve Together:

The Finance/Accounting Manager II manages the activities and personnel for all aspects of a significant finance or accounting area at the corporate or major unit level and/or provides high-level financial analysis to senior organizational leadership. They are responsible for managing the activities and personnel for a specific WO Finance or Accounting area or Business Unit, and/or for providing senior level financial analysis to senior management.  Generally responsible for the management, maintenance and reporting of financial data and/or the monitoring of management controls and processes to ensure compliance with TNC policies and procedures, relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, and financial/management best practice. The Finance/Accounting Manager II is a subject matter expert and serves as a resource to the organization or their organizational unit, as applicable, including as an advisor to senior level staff. They work closely with functions in Worldwide Office Finance and with other departments and organizational units as necessary for the effective functioning of their program area.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 7 years related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working with computer and information management systems, Excel spreadsheets and databases for financial analysis, fiscal management, and/or financial reports.

Experience recruiting, supervising, and developing staff.

Experience in developing, directing, and implementing multiple projects.

Experience developing budgets, performing high level financial analysis and recommending corrective action as appropriate.

Experience acting as a consultant/advisor to senior executives.

Experience with GAAP and not-for-profit accounting principles, practices and regulations, including government grants accounting and reporting.

Experience working with U.S. Federal government circulars (OMB Circulars A-110, A-122 and A-133) and state and local regulations.

MBA, CPA or CIA (if required).

Desired Qualifications:

Multi-lingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience appreciated.

Demonstrated success in motivating and leading staff.

Technical expert on complex accounting/financial issues.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial systems.

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

Demonstrated success in analyzing, manipulating and interpreting data, and developing, reporting and implementing solutions.

Service oriented. Courteous, personable, tactful and experienced dealing effectively with all levels of staff.

MBA, CPA and/or CIA, and/or CFA (if preferred).
