Associate Investigator (P-2)
The International Criminal Court offers a competitive remuneration package in accordance with the United Nations common system of salaries, allowances and benefits.
The package consists of a basic salary and a post adjustment reflecting the cost of living in The Hague, 30 days annual vacation , attractive relocation package, rental subsidy, periodic travel to home country, additional allowance may be granted for dependents, school fee allowance, competitive social security scheme.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i) Performs tasks as instructed by the Chief Prosecutor, the Deputy Prosecutor, the Head of Operational unit or the Team leader; ii) Conducts appropriate intelligence and evidence gathering related duties; iii) Works effectively in close cooperation with the other team members; iv) Interviews suspects, witnesses and victims as required; iv) Registers information and evidence; v) Performs analysis of the gathered information; vi) Participates in the required field activities;
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
(i) relevant university degree; (ii) international experience and either: (A) expert in crime analysis techniques; at least four years of experience with criminal investigations or intelligence handling, with a special focus on complex, large-scale cases or (B) at least four years of experience working in or in close cooperation with NGO’s/IGO’s, with a special focus on complex, large-scale cases; experience in working with police and justice organizations or (C) training in press and/or communication sciences; at least four years of experience handling press and other open source information, preferably with a special focus on atrocities; (iii) expert in data handling and recording voluminous data and documents; (iv) expert in data filing and data mining techniques; (v) excellent ability to administrate and handle complex and voluminous sets of records and facts; (vi) familiarity with analysis techniques; (vii) ability to work under stressful conditions; (viii) ability to work in a non-discriminatory manner, with respect for diversity; (ix) professional and personal integrity.
KNOWLEDGE OF LANGUAGES
Fluency in either of the working languages of the Court, English or French, is essential. Working knowledge of the other is desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court would be considered an asset. (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish)
