What are we looking for?

ICF now seeks to hire a Consultant for the Cambridge, MA office. Candidates will support senior leadership in the execution of consulting engagements across the practice. The primary responsibility will include leading the research efforts of teams of analysts and supporting vice presidents and principals in the execution of assignments. The successful candidate will have a strong quantitative aptitude, a demonstrable interest in the aviation industry, and a secondary degree (e.g., MBA, M.A) from a top university (or equivalent experience).

What would you do:

  • Participate as a member of a consulting team on client projects
  • Structure and manage assignments, including outlining and drafting key deliverables, defining analyses, directing teams of analysts and associates, and taking responsibility for preparing client-ready final work product
  • Work closely with vice presidents and principals to support new business development initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance existing client relationships
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with manager counterparts at client organizations
  • Support corporate growth initiatives, such as the development of intellectual capital, white papers, or marketing materials

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Secondary degree (MBA, MA) from a top tier school
  • 10+ years general experience of which 6+ years of aviation experience
  • Experience creating financial models
  • Demonstrated interest in aviation
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Ability to travel

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to develop complex business plan and other forecasting models for commercial sales, revenues and related costs.
  • Outstanding skills required in developing Excel based spreadsheets using macros.
  • Ability to analyze multiple sources of data to determine common themes.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial information into client friendly reports.
  • Excellence in report writing based on explaining complex financial concepts in a simplified manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising on quality or accuracy.
  • Flexibility in working patterns required due to the international nature of assignments.
