Business Development Coordinator (Cross-Regional)

Job Description

Altai Consulting is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Coordinator to support the expansion of its Public Policy activities across Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. Reporting directly to a Partner and working in close coordination with Altai Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and tracking cross-regional business opportunities, as well as coordinating Altai’s response to relevant proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and identify business opportunities in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) in line with Altai Public Policy expertise
• Coordinate the development and submission of high-quality proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Altai partners and teams across regions.
• Maintain Altai BD coordination tools

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in Business Development for Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) activities required
• Experience with EU Framework Contracts management (FWC) and EU procurement systems required.
• Experience with UK FCDO, AFD, GIZ and other european MSA procurement systems is a plus.
• Strong proposal writing and coordination skills.
• Excellent relationship management and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of Altai’s fields of expertise, particularly Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL).
• Thematic experience in Migration, Peace & Stability, Environment & Climate is a plus
