Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP, headquartered in Arlington, VA, is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for a Buy-In Manager to manage the anticipated multi-year USAID-funded Digital Strategy Implementation and Programs Activity (DSIPA) that will be based in Washington, D.C. This activity will serve to drive the implementation of the Digital Strategy across the Agency’s multiple technical and regional sectors.

The Buy-In Manager will manage all activity buy-ins from idea to implementation to closeout, focused on driving the research, training, digital-sector partnerships, and behavior change that will equip USAID for the digital age.

The Buy-In Manager will work closely with and report to the Director to provide oversight to the DISPA activity.

A specific scope of work will be defined based on further information from the client as well as the candidate’s background and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all buy-ins, from idea to implementation and close-out, within the designated time frame and budget constraints
  • Provide excellent customer service, client relations, and relationship management
  • Engage with local partners and internal stakeholders to assemble teams and build capacity, hire and onboard firms and experts, and meet defined buy-in kickoff expectations
  • Assess activity and buy-in timelines, tasks, and milestones to ensure completeness
  • Managing risks of project implementation and implement risk mitigation techniques

Qualifications

  • At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional work experience managing USAID activities, including contracts and buy-ins, and sub-awardees and contractors
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience building and leveraging relationships with counterparts at various levels of government and private sector
  • Experience working on buy-ins, grants, and awards that support technology, cybersecurity, and digitalization

Location

The primary place of performance for these activities will be in Washington, D.C., United States of America.
